Confidentiality Policy & Professional Privilege
Last updated: October 2026 • Governing Standards: DPDP Act 2023 & Indian Evidence Framework
CraftEgon CCS provides corporate secretarial, regulatory compliance, and statutory documentation infrastructure under Indian corporate law. In compliance with the Advocates Act, 1961 and Bar Council of India regulations, CraftEgon CCS does not provide courtroom appearances, tribunal advocacy, or contentious litigation representation before the NCLT, ITAT, or High Courts. Formal legal representation and tribunal pleadings must be conducted by independent practicing advocates engaged directly on a separate vakalatnama.
1. Universal Professional Non-Disclosure Commitment
At CraftEgon CCS, client trust and corporate data confidentiality represent our core institutional commitment. All proprietary information, cap table compositions, financial statements, valuation models, board minutes, shareholder discussions, and strategic intellectual property disclosures submitted through our portals are governed by strict confidentiality obligations equivalent to standard institutional Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
2. Technical & Organizational Safeguards under DPDP Act 2023
In compliance with Section 8(5) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, CraftEgon CCS maintains reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal and corporate data breaches:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Client records and KYC dossiers are accessible strictly by assigned compliance leads on a need-to-know basis;
- Zero Data Monetization: CraftEgon CCS never sells, rents, commercializes, or shares client confidential data or business master files with third-party advertising brokers;
- Encrypted Workspaces: All board resolutions, e-form XML payloads, and DSC signing files are encrypted with cryptographic AES-256 keys.
3. Professional Privilege Boundaries
Where corporate secretarial documentation and compliance records compiled by CraftEgon CCS are shared with independent practicing advocates retained by the client, communications and evidentiary briefs prepared directly for such counsel are governed by professional communication privilege under Section 126 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 / Section 132 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, subject to applicable judicial interpretations.
